FBI (Friendly Beekeepers of Iowa) offer free educational classes each winter to introduce new perspective apiarists in the basics of beekeeping. For information contact Judy Spence at  jespencejr44@gmail.com or find them on Facebook. Iowa Honey Producers offer classes each year. Please visit their website for a full listing. Russian Honeybee Breeder Association has additional information on Primorsky Russians and a  listing of their charter members. Beesource.com has an array of articles and forums on beekeeping topics. Beeinformed.org is an extension project that endeavors to decrease the number of managed honeybees that die over the winter. Brushy Mountain Bee Farm has a great archive of webinars they have performed on the various stages of beekeeping. Ohio State University Entomology Bee Lab offers a library of Webinar topics and classes that have been recorded for  download at any time. University of Florida Entomology & Nematology has one of the largest facilities dedicated to our friendly polinator. They offer a wide range of small courses up to full degrees specializing in honeybees and participate in international conferences and conventions.
